ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – All this snow is an extremely welcome sight for the ski areas around New Mexico.
Some were already talking about shutting down early for the year because of a lack of snow. But nearly every ski resort got hit Monday.
Angel Fire got three inches, Red River got two inches, Santa Fe and Taos got five inches and the big winner was Sandia which has been shut down because of lack of snow.
Hopefully the snow in the next few days will allow them to reopen.
