Teacher reports box cutter threat

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque school district confirms a boy was sent home after what may have been an incident involving a box cutter Friday at Governor Bent Elementary School in the Northeast Heights.

APS won’t give details, but a source says the student had a box cutter and threatened to cut a girl.

A teacher reportedly took the box cutter away.

Disciplinary action is unknown.
