SFCC names interim president

SANTA FE (KRQE) – An interim president has been named for the Santa Fe Community College.

The college’s board voted Tuesday to appoint vice president of academic affairs Randy Grissom for an 18-month term.

Grissom replaces ANA “Cha” Guzman, who was fired in December.

Guzman claims she was fired after she wrote a letter to the state auditor requesting an investigation into the college’s finances.

She is trying to get her job back and plans to sue the school under a whistleblower-protection law.
