ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man accused of shooting another man after a fight over a horse has been arrested.
Witnesses say Luis Roybal shot Eduardo Bracamonte on the West Mesa on Sunday after they argued over the price of a pony.
The witnesses say Roybal was only offering half what was agreed upon and when he was challenged and pulled out a gun.
Bracamonte was left with a gunshot to the lower abdomen. According to court documents, he lost a kidney and may have spinal damage.
