With a northwesterly flow in place, temps will stay down for today, especially east. As the flow shifts to the southwest through Thursday, temps are really going to warm up. Again, the east will see the biggest swing in temperatures. Albuquerque will reach the mid 60s on Thursday, but Roswell is expected to reach 80°! The winds will also kick up, leading to an elevated fire danger. Temps cool some Friday, but the winds get stronger as a storm scrapes the northern part of the state. The good news is some snow may be possible across the Northern Mountains and Southern Colorado into the weekend.
