Higher bond is recommended for 19-year-old


ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man is in jail tonight after police say a domestic incident got worse when police arrived.

According to a criminal complaint, 19-year-old Jacob Jaramillo allegedly punched his uncle, and when police arrived they say he began swinging at an officer.

In court today background investigators recommended a higher bond.

Background investigators say, ”However, we are concerned about the nature of the allegations as is written, specifically the alleged us of scissors as a deadly weapon, and also Mr. Jaramillo was allegedly very uncooperative with law enforcement. Taking all that into consideration we recommend bond that Mr. Jaramillo’s be booked at $7,500 cash assurety.”

The judge went above and beyond that recommendation, doubling it to $15,000.
