Animal humane sees increase in pets

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Animal Humane is reporting a big increase in the number of pets they took in last year.

Shelters across the state transferred pets to animal humane in Albuquerque through a program called project fetch.

All told about 13-hundred pets were transferred to animal humane through the program in 2013 a 43% increase from the year before.
