3 arrested for license fraud

Three foreign nationals accused in a license fraud ring have been arrested in Albuquerque.

The bust was made Wednesday by State Police.

Officials say two of the suspects, from Georgia and New York, had already paid a Mexican national living in Albuquerque at least $1,100 to obtain fake residential documents. Those documents were to be used to get a New Mexico driver’s license.

The investigation into the scheme is ongoing.
