ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Candy Lady will soon be on the move in Old Town.

A judge made the ruling and had a comment for the maker of the “Breaking Bad” blue meth candy and her landlord.

“Excuse the pun, it sounds like you all just broke bad,” said Judge Frank Sedillo.

Debbie Davis needs to be out of her Old Town location by Feb. 28. She’s been there more than 30 years.

The ordeal stems from a rental dispute between Davis and the landlord that’s been going on for months.

At Wednesday’s eviction hearing, Robert Simon said he asked Davis to sign the new lease in October, but she never did.

Davis says she plans to stay in Old Town at another location.

The owner of the building says he has a new tenant, but that’s all he will say.
