Alamogordo superintendent to step down

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KRQE) – The superintendent of the Alamogordo Public School District is retiring.

According to the Alamogordo Daily News, George Straface told board members last week he’s stepping down because he was ready.

He says he’ll finish out the rest of his contract which expires in June.
