Stabbing shuts down part of downtown ABQ

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police have made an arrest in Albuquerque’s latest stabbing; it shut down a busy section of downtown Albuquerque for hours last night.

One man was stabbed and rushed to U.N.M. Hospital.

Today we learned 23-year-old Marcos Alderette is charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm.

But several other people were questioned by police; no word on what led up to the stabbing.
