ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Deputies say a South Valley store owner found an easy way to stock his shelves; the stuff he was selling was stolen.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department served a warrant on the “Mexico Lindo” store on Broadway after a four month long investigation.

They say the stolen loot is worth more than $100,000.00.

Deputies say the store owner Fabian Moreno would even “request” certain items to stock his shelves if he was running low.

Right now Moreno is the main focus of the investigation. Deputies say Moreno is cooperating and telling them how the operation worked.
