Flames fully engulf Albuquerque home

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Firefighters responded to a house fire at 12007 Elvin Place Northeast around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, dark smoke and high flames billowed from the house, AFD says. WIthin 30 minutes, however, the fire was contained and under control.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported. According to AFD, one occupant in the home escaped before firefighters arrived.
