Lobos go 2-0 on road trip, beat SJSU


Williams scores 19 points in 69-65 win

SAN JOSE, CA (KRQE) – The Lobos finish their 2-game road trip with a 69-65 win over San Jose State. Kendall Williams scored a team high 19 points as New Mexico improves to 12-3 (3-0) with the win over the Spartans. JC transfer Deshawn Delaney hit three big 3-pointers in the second half keeping the Lobos in the game, meanwhile Hugh Greenwood gave New Mexico the lead with his own three pointer. Kendall Williams finished off the Spartans with free throws down the stretch and a key floater in the key for the win. Up next for UNM is a date with UNLV on January 15th.
